Territory Sales Manager

In this role, you will:

  1. Attain sales volume objectives in budgeted pounds by developing territory sales opportunities. 
  2. Be responsible for creating and executing a market sales plan incorporating company objectives.
  3. Develop relationships with regional operators, sales agencies and distributor accounts through personal sales calls and participation in association events and shows.
  4. Meet customer requirements by communicating the benefits offered by our products using professional selling skills and the basic sales process techniques, and product demonstration.
  5. Use CRM to plan, record sales and market opportunities.
  6. Work with Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis to receive positive and constructive feedback/coaching on sales performance.
  7. Work directly with our sales agency partners to grow, penetrate, and sustain sales volume.

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
  • 3 5 years progressive related experience with successful results.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and team player while working from a home-based office.
  • Exceptional relationship and organizational skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willing to travel 40-50% as required by position.

Required Background

  • Demonstrated experience working with Foodservice distributors and brokers (Sysco, USF, GFS, Infusion, Acosta, Waypoint etc.)
  • 3-5 years foodservice sales experience with proven sales results.
  • Demonstrated experience with large leverage operators with proven trackable results.
