In this role, you will:

  1. Attain sales volume objectives in budgeted pounds by developing territory sales opportunities.
  2. Be responsible for creating and executing a market sales plan incorporating company objectives.
  3. Develop relationships with regional operators, sales agencies and distributor accounts through personal sales calls and participation in association events and shows.
  4. Uncover customer needs by using our proven Basic Sales Process and then demonstrate products to show how they can meet those needs.
  5. Use CRM to plan, record sales and market opportunities.
  6. Work with Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis to receive constant, positive and constructive feedback/coaching on sales performance.

Required Background

  • Demonstrated experience successfully working with Foodservice distributors and brokers (Sysco, GFS, PFG, Acosta, etc.)
  • 3 - 5 years foodservice sales experience with successful results


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
  • Demonstrated self-starter and team player
  • Exceptional relationship and organizational skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willing to travel 20-25% as required by position
