Winning in Club is a key strategic initiative for Basic American Foods. We're looking for a winner like you to drive our business through the introduction of on-trend, convenient, and great tasting new dried food products that appeals to club members.  We have several products in distribution at Costco today, and we're actively pursuing several new, unique, and innovative products across our portfolio.  

Costco and Western Region National Account Manager (NAM)

The Costco/Club NAM is responsible for achieving revenue and profit objectives for Costco both nationally and in Canada. Costco is the main priority for the role and we invest appropriately in demo and other marketing support to enable success.

A key responsibility is to gain new item placement and rotations in Costco and new product distribution, this role requires direct account management at Costco. Additionally, you will

  • Develop and execute account specific strategies designed to deliver both sales and profit
  • Own your business results - including revenue, trade spend, profit, and marketing execution objectives
  • Have the autonomy to check & adjust your plans as business results dictate
  • Work collaboratively with supporting business teams and leverage cross-functional resources to create and deliver your go-to-market strategies and new item development and commercialization.

Background/Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in CPG Sales, with 5+ years of Costco experience preferably with a startup or early stage CPG Sales brand experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of food, consumer products, competitive trends, consumer, channel and business insights are needed for success.
  • Proven ability to build and articulate a vision and strategy for Costco and other customers in environments where relationship management, influencing and collaboration drive success.
  • Located in Western US and preferably in the Pacific Time zone and 30-50% travel
